Blessed Imbolc! So much gratitude for our beautiful midwinter circle yesterday.
Thank you to Sarah for being a gracious hostess, creating a lovely space for our circle and building a warming and welcoming fire (inside as well as outside!). Thank you to all for bringing items for the altar and ceremony. Thank you to our Maiden, Mother, and Crones for representing and honoring the Triple Goddess, Brigid, in our ritual.
El found a perfect place for the altar and decorated it with her mom. She delighted and impressed us in her role as Maiden and her understanding of this midwinter ritual. Thank you to El and to her nurturing Mother for your participation in the ceremony and the many gifts and insights you offer. I can still smell the smudge and cedar! Thank you to Juni and Edee for guiding us with your Crone wisdom, wit, and good humor. And the rainmaking appears to have worked, Juni! Thank you to songbird Sarah for your sweet singing and gentle words & ways. Thank you to the ancestors, spirit guides, and loved ones with us around the circle–and the Elementals who assist in our ceremonies. And thanks to those sisters who held the space from their homes and connected with us across the miles.
