Golden Section
Cochlea of the Human Ear
The Greek philosopher’s followers defined a golden section proportion, related angles and spirals which became the basis of western music, architecture and natural science. Regularly divided, the Pythagorean golden section produces a musical scale and it is the basic design of the same cochlear spiral found in the human ear.
