Increase your bone health, get some fun exercise, and meet new people while dancing to your favorite songs. Eileen Mielenhausen will lead you in gentle, easy dance steps to a selection of music from many eras and genres. These hour-long programs include a brief check-in, a warmup with stretching, dancing for bone and cardio health, and then a cool-down period.
Eileen has created a unique playlist for every session, combining music from different eras and diverse genres, including: worldbeat, Latin, pop, hip hop, disco, soul, funk, r&b, rock & roll, reggae, blues, country, zydeco, bluegrass, West African highlife, electronica, Americana/roots, jazz, and show tunes. Come to as many sessions as you like. Bring a friend!

About the Presenter: Eileen Mielenhausen earned her Master of Arts in 1988 and spent 40 years as a teacher, trainer, academic librarian, nonprofit administrator, caregiver, coordinator, and presenter. She is a certified Reiki practitioner and sound healing guide since 2015 and has been a student of yoga, chanting, singing, drumming, dancing and shamanic practices for decades. Presently, Eileen enjoys reliving the glory of her “disco days” while dancing to build back bone density loss due to breast cancer medications.
